The Journey of Transformation Begins With Us

I will start this thought reflection with a quote of mine. "Truth is the foundation of freedom, healing, and liberation. I have been wrestling with the observance of our humanity and the essence of being human. Have you ever thought about what really makes people hate each other, despise one another, create oppression, and erect obstructions to freedom? Even to go as far as to continue to practice racism, express racism in its infrastructural system. I thought about it as an individual, a person who realizes that "All men are brothers", as Mahatma Gandhi said. ( We must not forget our sisters). So the question is, what actually is freedom? Is freedom a Rosa Parks who refuses to give up her seat on the bus? No, what is freedom, and why does racism continue to exist? We are familiar with Joshua and the story of the Jericho Walls falling down. That didn't happen by itself. That story had Divine Intervention written all over it. Was Mother Teresa any different from her sister, Rosa Parks? Who are these people who persons who puruse a deeper reality, I mean, the list is long, King, Malcolm X, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and anyone else who refuses to sell their soul to hatred, racism, prejudice. It is difficult for me to understand the illusion of hate when love is supreme. It is difficult for me to understand the narratives, infrastructures, and civilization that mankind has created. The planet Earth is such a small place we call home. Deteriation of who we are as a collective humanity is so short of the mark of what we can be. So, this freedom idea, this freedom concept, this freedom consciousness is an inevitable part of who we are within our Soul. So, the journey of transformation begins when we look into the mirror and ask ourselves, perhaps, the question: who is my brother and who is my sister? Perhaps, just perhaps, it would be a better world if some of us and more of us refused to live lies, false narratives of who we are. Who am I? Who are you? The truth is that the elements of transformation are to see the illusion for what it is and to pursue the highest good for the highest truth. That action itself can help us begin knocking on Freedom's door. Perhaps there was a power behind Joshua, the wall buster, and his story.
